Here I was thinking that Facebook and Twitter were ruining our society. Apparently they’re making people more active in the real world, socially and physically, and making them spend more money. Since 40% of social media users access that social media from mobile devices, I wonder how many people are participating in social media and being active at the same time?
So it looks like I’m on the fast track to entering into an unpredictable, rapidly changing, high tech field of study that will shape how people access information and interact with others. I’m still stuck on the fact that my neighborhood blockbuster closed down.
